Performance Specifications
DEUTSCH electronic connectors will face the severe environmental challenges common to the industrial market where advanced performance is required. Proper parts, processes and tools must be used.
temperature
Continuous operation at rated current in temperatures from -55°C to +125°C.
Durability
After 100 cycles of engagement and disengagement, there were no electrical or mechanical defects.
vibration
No unlocking or deactivation after exposure to sinusoidal vibration levels of 20 g from 10 to 2000 Hz in each of three mutually perpendicular planes, and no mechanical or physical damage at 20 g. No electrical discontinuities longer than 1 microsecond.
Physical shock
No unlocking, deactivation, or other unsatisfactory results during or after 50 g in each of three mutually perpendicular planes. No electrical discontinuities longer than 1 microsecond. MIL-STD 202, Method 213, Condition "C".
Fluid resistance
The fittings will not show damage when exposed to most fluids used in industrial applications.
Insulation resistance
At least 1000 megohms at 25°C.
Water resistance
A properly wired and mated connection will withstand immersion in three feet of water without loss of electronic quality or leakage.
Dielectric voltage of dielectric
Current leakage is less than 2 mA at 1500 VAC.
Thermal Cycle
After 20 test cycles from -55°C to +125°C, there was no cracking, chipping or leakage.
